After the horrific events of this past weekend, I wanted to share this article that was published by the American Psychological Association. I think it brings up some great ideas about managing distress in these difficult times. I definitely agree with the point about turning things off and taking a break. It's easy to get drawn into the news or articles on social media as it's normal to want answers and information. Take a break and do something positive for yourself and those around you. Most importantly, take care of yourself.
